The Inferno Triathlon is a triathlon that has been held in August in the Bernese Oberland since 1998. Compared to many other triathlon events, the necessary infrastructure is not provided at a central point, but the start, transition area and finish are located at different places. With 5500 metres of ascent over a distance of 155 km, it is very challenging.
