Seniorentheater Herbschtrose plays «Lieber ledig und frei»

Franz, Göpf and Hansjakob Hürlimann are three unmarried mountain farmers who live contentedly on their Heimetli. One day they receive a letter from a lawyer saying that their great-aunt Annemarie has generously left them money in her will. However, this was only under the condition that at least one of the three would be married within a year. For great-aunt Annemarie was of the opinion that being single could not be the fulfillment of a man. It is true that Hansjakob already had his eye on the farmer's wife from the upper Heimetli. Unfortunately, he is much too shy to confess this to her and vice versa.
