Swiss National Day at Ballenberg

Celebrate Switzerland’s birthday at the Swiss Open-Air Museum in a particularly atmospheric setting.

Walk through the beautiful forest landscape, through the historic buildings and houses from all regions in Switzerland, get up close and personal with the animals and immerse yourself in the life of days gone by.

In keeping with Switzerland’s birthday, the sound of the alphorn can be heard in the Ballenberg grounds and men wearing traditional “Mutz” jackets show off their flag-waving skills.
