Summer hotspot for Adventure. In winter Mecca for freestylers and snowboarders.

Enjoy an afternoon snack in the mountain restaurant or race down the 800 metre-long First Flyer (a kind of Tyrolienne) to the intermediate station at Schreckfeld. The Bachalpsee, in which the snow-capped peaks are reflected, is only about 1 hour on foot from First.

First Cliff Walk

The First Cliff Walk by Tissot, which leads along the rock face to a viewing platform, makes the heart beat a little faster, even if you are daring.

First Flieger

Adventure seekers race at speeds of up to 84 km/h down an 800 metre-long cable from First to the Schreckfeld intermediate station. Sitting in the security of a harness and brought to a halt by a spring at the bottom, up to 4 people can enjoy the gigantic Tyrolienne simultaneously.

First Glider

Flying with a bird of prey can be exhilarating. Especially when an eagle called First Glider takes flight. His four "passengers" float through the mountain landscape and enjoy a panoramic view at high speeds: To begin with, the First Glider is pulled backwards from Schreckfeld towards First at 72 km/h. It is on the way back that the eagle really takes off. He and his passengers glide the 800-metre-long flight route at up to 83 km/h.

FIRST MOUNTAIN CART

First Mountain Cart Thunder along for three kilometres over hill and dale with the First Mountain Cart . The new fun sport vehicle with a comfortable seat, good tyres and effective brakes transports you safely along the rough track from Schreckfeld to Bort.

The Mountain Cart, a mix of go-kart and sledge, is suitable for children with a minimum height of 125 cm. Free safety helmets are available. Price for one ticket (excl. train ride) Adults CHF 19 Children 10 to 15 years CHF 14.

TROTTIBIKE

A trottibike ride is the greatest of fun for the whole family. The First cableway in Grindelwald takes you comfortably to the departure point. Protected by a helmet you ride down the quiet, asphalt road back down to Grindelwald.
