Männlichen is easily accessible by train from both Grindelwald and Wengen.
It is a point of departure for countless walks. Along high-altitude footpaths day-trippers can walk to Alpiglen or Kleine Scheidegg. The Liselotte or Royal Walk theme paths have a few surprises in store for families. Those wishing to go higher up can do the short walk up to Männlichen peak (2,342 m). The hiking paradise is reached by Grindelwald via gondola as well as from Wengen by cable car.

To arrive on Männlichen you have the choice of gliding up by aerial gondola from Grindelwald or via Lauterbrunnen-Wengen by aerial cableway. Whichever you choose, you’re sure of a comfortable trip through a fascinating mountain world.
