Sawmill iron mine Mühletal

The old saw in Mühletal near Innertkirchen was still in operation into the mid 20th century. With great commitment, the community has now restored the saw once again. Thanks to this dedication, an interesting structure from the valley's history has been maintained.

The saw in Mühletal has been in operation and accessible to the public for a year now. Thanks to a donation, the visitors now get a deeper insight into the old technology. Even after 300 years, the oak cogs still interlock perfectly.
