A delightful hiking break

Spielbodenalp is located a few kilometres from Mürren and can only be reached on foot.
On the Northface Trail you hike over flower meadows and through the picturesque Gimmelen to Spilboden, where the alp with a view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau lies.

In summer, guests are pampered by Stägers. The rustic and simple cuisine offers pure alpine pleasure.
Particularly popular is the house speciality: Chässchnitte.

Operating hours

The hut is open every summer from June to September.
The restaurant is always open on Saturday and Sunday during the day.
Overnight stays can be booked between Friday and Sunday.

Location

The Spielbodenalp is located in the middle of the mountain world of Mürren and is only accessible on foot for guests.
The hike from Mürren takes just under an hour.
