CANCELLED - International Inferno races, Alpine skiing

The Inferno Race, carried out for the first time in 1928, is today considered the biggest amateur ski race in international skiing. Good skiers take about 45 minutes for the 14,9 km long run, the winners of the race take less than 15 minutes. 1'850 skier compete annually beneath the Schilthorn-Piz Gloria, defying the 1990m height difference over the challenging Inferno slopes.
