Here in the Jungfrau Region you can currently be wonderfully out and about. Hiking, biking and climbing, for example. However, we would be happy to show you a few alternative activities. With these you can channel your inner Tiger Woods:
#1 Minigolf Grindelwald
This beautiful 18-hole minigolf course is located on Grindelwald's main street. The best possible spot if you were up in the mountains and look for something to do in the afternoon/evening when you get back. Most restaurants and bars of the village are nearby as well. Children as well as older visitors will get their money's worth on this course. Barbecues are spontaneously held at the little house of the minigolf course.
The course is open from mid-April to October. If the weather's good you can play from 1pm.
#2 Golf Course Grindelwald
For those who prefer classic golf. Located at the valley bottom, this unique course is surrounded by fields, trees, a river and Grindelwald's signature mountains. It's the only golf course in the Bernese Oberland where you can play golf without a course qualification or official handicap. So it's fun for everyone – absolute beginners or experienced players. You can use the driving range or book a green fee for the incomparable 9-hole course here. Equipment can be rented on spot for a good price.
After a short introduction, the local and well-known groundkeeper can issue the course permit to you at his own discretion. After that you can just enjoy your game on 9 special, attractive fairways. You can relax and enjoy a refreshment or snack at the golf bar after. There are parking spaces at the course. Otherwise you can use the local bus or walk down.

Of course you can also buy a season card. It's also possible to book golf lessons.
#3 Lauberhorn Crazy Golf
This witty minigolf course is located in the car-free village of Wengen, at the foot of Jungfrau mountain. The Lauberhorn Crazy Golf is more than just Minigolf. Because the 18-hole-course tells different stories about the infamous Lauberhorn Downhill Race (every January in Wengen). Play the «Kernen-S» or the «Austrian hole» (both notorious sections of the race) as well as shooting the ball out of a snow cannon. Family fun guaranteed!

#4 Minigolf Lauterbrunnen
Why not play a round of minigolf after a walk through the beautiful Lauterbrunnen valley? The course is located at the «Eyelti» sports ground. You can play tennis there as well, there are two sand courts.

(CHF 1 reduction with the Lauterbrunnen guest card)
From mid-Mai to early October the course is open to both guests and locals from 3am - 9pm daily
#5 Minigolf Hasliberg
This 18-hole minigolf course with fantastic panorama views is located at Hasliberg Wasserwendi. It invites you to play and linger as you can enjoy small snacks and drinks at the garden bistro on spot. At Hasliberg there's also a public a bathing lake – great combo for a family day.

#6 Farmers Hiking Golf Innertkirchen
18 fun holes made from old farm equipment spread around the village.
Start at the hotel Hof & Post. The different minigolf-like stations made from old farming utensils and machines are spread around the village of Innertkirchen. Brochure and clubs are available at all of the hotels, camping grounds, information office and the post office in Innertkirchen.
While we're at ball sports: The Jungfrau Region's also a great place to play tennis. Almost every village offers courts for locals and tourists. Discover more.
Fun fact: The famous Swiss chocolate manufacturer Lindt & Sprüngli opened a shop in 2014 on the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. Roger Federer, probably Switzerland's biggest star, was there as an advertising face. But he also picked up his racket – at a height of 3454 metres. And played a little duel against none less than US ski darling Lindsey Vonn.
