Unique. Diverse. That's a good way to summarise the range of slopes in the Jungfrau Region. Four ski areas, over 270 kilometres of pistes - you'll be spoilt for choice here. We particularly recommend the following slopes.
Mürren-Schilthorn ski area: piste number 14 - Bietenhorn
You can reach this descent, which is suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers, with the Muttleren chairlift or the Kandahar chairlift. The beautiful, wide route scores points above all with its breathtaking panorama. You head straight for the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau triumvirate. Numerous other imposing peaks rise majestically into the sky and form a picturesque backdrop. But we don't really want to waste too many words, because as the saying goes: a picture - or in this case a video - is worth a thousand words.
Grindelwald-Wengen ski area: Piste number 32 - "Black-Rock"
A route that promises pure adrenalin. This is the "Black Rock". The two-kilometre-long descent leads from the Eiger Glacier to the Wixi chairlift - and attracts skiers and snowboarders alike. The descent at the foot of the Mönch Glacier owes its name "Black Rock" to the dark rock formations along the route. You can look forward to rapid turns, steep gradients and challenging passages. The perfectly groomed piste with its mixture of open slopes and narrow couloirs presents you with exciting challenges.
Skigebiet Grindelwald-First: Piste Nummer 1 – Oberjoch
It is considered the windiest descent in the Jungfrau Region. A mixture of thrills and the forces of nature await you here. The piste not only offers spectacular views. It is also a real challenge due to the changeable wind conditions. An encounter with the whims of nature - perfect for winter sports enthusiasts looking for an extraordinary experience.
Meiringen-Hasliberg ski area: Piste number 1 - Mägisalp-Reuti
The day on the ski slopes ends at sunset at the latest. Not so in the Meiringen-Hasliberg ski area. On selected days between January and March, slopes numbers 14 and 23 from Mägisalp to Reuti are floodlit for night skiing from 6 pm to 10 pm. For ski enthusiasts looking for something special. The magic begins when the floodlights illuminate the snow-covered slopes. When you glide down the perfectly groomed pistes under the starry sky. When the surrounding peaks glow in the moonlight. Before or after your adventure on the piste, you can indulge in culinary delights at the Mägisalp mountain restaurant.
