Silberhornhütte SAC

"Tiny hostel in a magnificent landscape" is probably the right description. The small, simple self-catering hut stands in a prominent position on the Rotbrättlücke between Schwarzmönch and Silberhorn, high above the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Partly exposed, long, alpine access, only in dry weather. The ascents towards the Jungfrau are high alpine and rarely travelled - the views around the extraordinary hut are impressive.
