Gauli hut SAC

Located in the rear Urbachtal valley at the SE foot of the Hangendgletscherhorn. Owned by the SAC Bern section, 65 places. The hut is serviced during the spring and summer seasons. Starting point for high-altitude tours and alpine ski tours in the eastern Bernese Oberland. Climbing on gneiss with a good grip or the view of the Gauli Glacier and the lakes in the foreground are highlights around this hut. Rocks specially designed for children, an excursion to the glacier, swimming at the Chipfenseeli and organised children's climbing camps will delight families. Special "Dakota tours" to the site of the American plane crash.
