Meiringen village tour
The village tour in Meiringen combines historical background with local culinary impressions. The guided tour starts at the Tourist Center by Meiringen railway station and leads to Casinoplatz in the centre of Meiringen. Along the way, participants learn interesting facts about Sherlock Holmes, the English Church and the famous mountain guide Melchior Anderegg.
The tour continues to Molki Meiringen, where regional specialities from the Haslital can be tasted. As a sweet finale, a visit to the Frutal bakery is included, where participants can try the famous Meiringen meringues.

Opening hours
The tour takes place on Wednesdays. The meeting point is the Tourist Centre Meiringen at 2.30 pm.
Registration by 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Tourist Centre or by telephone.
