Historical and culinary village tour of Grindelwald
Historical and culinary village tour of Grindelwald

The historical and culinary village tour in Grindelwald combines local history with culinary impressions. During the guided tour, a local guide explains the historical background and origins of the village of Grindelwald. Depending on availability, local specialities can be tasted along the route, with a focus on regional products such as cheese and dairy products, meat and sausage specialities, or typical baked goods from Grindelwald.

A visit to the local heritage museum can be included in the tour. The corresponding voucher can be redeemed flexibly, also on another day.

The regular village tour takes place every Tuesday at 1.30 pm and is available with the Grindelwald Guest Card. For groups, the village tour can also be arranged on request outside the regular schedule, subject to guide availability. Requests should be made at least two weeks in advance. No guest card is required for additional group tours. The start time can be arranged individually in the morning or afternoon.

For external group tours, the tour is usually historical only and does not include culinary elements, as additional catering services cannot always be guaranteed. Culinary additions may be possible on request.

The tour is ideal for participants interested in the history and culture of Grindelwald who would also like to discover regional products. The combination of a guided tour, village history and possible tastings creates a varied shared experience outside the usual everyday setting.
