The legendary Eiger North Face towers protectively, but also frighteningly, above the glacier village of Grindelwald near Interlaken and has influenced the thoughts and actions of the local population and the international mountaineering community for centuries. Numerous stories have been written, filmed and passed down orally in and about the north face of the Eiger.
You can experience the myth of the "Eiger North Face" at first hand. Together with our certified mountain guides, adequately equipped with helmets and climbing harnesses and expertly instructed, you will make your first climbing attempts on the north face of the Eiger. The train to the Jungfraujoch stops exclusively for you in the "Stollenloch".

Your OUTDOOR guides will be happy to tell you everything you need to know about the drama and spectacle of the first ascent of the north face of the Eiger and show you the climbing equipment used at the time in contrast to what is commonly used today. You will be amazed. On the 2,000-metre-high north face of the Eiger, a 600-metre-deep view of the valley awaits you. After this unique experience on the north face of the Eiger, you can either continue by train to the Jungfraujoch or return to Grindelwald by train and/or gondola cableway.

The "Eiger North Face" experience can be booked all year round and combined with various other offers: guided tour and/or glacier hike on the Jungfraujoch, toboggan run in winter or hike in summer. Sledging and hiking are possible directly below the north face of the Eiger.
