Brochhütte SAC

The Brochhütte (1,499 m above sea level) is located in the idyllic Rychenbach Valley above Meiringen and belongs to the Oberhasli section of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC). This cozy mountain hut is about a 15-minute walk from Schwarzwaldalp and is an ideal destination for families, hikers, school groups, and other groups. The hut offers 43 beds, half-board accommodations, and simple meals. Despite various renovations, it has retained its original mountain charm, deliberately without electricity and with an authentic mountain atmosphere. The Brochhütte is a popular starting point for hikes and nature experiences in the Rosenlaui and Hasli valleys.
