Wengen-Männlichen Aerial Cableway

The aerial cableway connects the mountain village of Wengen with Männlichen and offers a second way to reach the mountain, in addition to the gondola from Grindelwald.

In summer, it takes visitors to Männlichen in less than five minutes, where numerous hiking and adventure trails await. In winter, it provides access to the ski area as well as winter hiking and sledging trails.

The cableway opened in 1954 and has been modernised several times since then. During the most recent renovation in 2018, the cabins were enlarged and equipped with an open-air balcony.
