Workshops

Learn winter running techniques

Would you like to improve your running technique and learn some new tips? The Backdoor Shop in Grindelwald regularly organises workshops – come along and pick up some useful tips.

Equipment

Well prepared for off-road driving

Having the right kit can make your runs much easier. Whether it’s a rucksack, poles or shoes – you need the right gear. You should carry items such as a thermal blanket, a mobile phone, food and a wind/rain jacket. When you’re well equipped, trail running is even more fun.

Behaviour

Run safely and considerately

  • Only use the existing winter walking trails.
  • Be considerate and give way to walkers and sledge riders.
  • Walk at the edge of the slopes and be mindful of wildlife and protected areas.
  • Leave no trace; dispose of your rubbish properly.
