Bike Loop Käserstatt

Starting at Twing, the route offers a nice mix of well-maintained gravel paths and technically challenging single trails. The ascent to Käserstatt is challenging, but the magnificent view of the surrounding peaks and the fresh mountain air make the climb a pleasure.

Once you reach the highest point, the descent begins – a real highlight of the Käserstatt loop. The route winds through green forests and across meadows, offering spectacular views of the majestic mountains of the Bernese Oberland. Every biker gets their money's worth here.

Gadmen Loop

This circular route runs from Innertkirchen through the picturesque Gadmen Valley and offers a perfect combination of Alpine terrain, green valleys and imposing mountain views. At just under 30 kilometers long and with a climb of around 1,000 meters, the tour is ideal for experienced mountain bikers who want to enjoy nature and a sporting challenge in equal measure.

The tour starts in the idyllic village of Gadmen. Right at the beginning, the route leads uphill and winds along quiet gravel paths through the Gadmen valley. The ascent requires a good level of fitness, but rewards you with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain peaks and wide alpine meadows. Once at the top, a varied descent with technically demanding passages awaits you.

Mountain View Trail

Your tour starts in the picturesque Lauterbrunnen. First, you will ride along a gently rising paved road to Stechelberg. You can comfortably take the train up to Gimmelwald – perfect for saving energy for the upcoming trail.

Once you arrive in Gimmelwald, you will cycle through Mürren before the real ascent begins via Mittelberg and Oberberg. Here, an alpine road takes you up to 1880 meters above sea level. The ground constantly changes between stone and earth – variety is guaranteed!

At an altitude of 1767 meters above sea level, the next steep section begins. Here you have to push your bike until you reach the Marchegg. After that, it's downhill again: the trail leads you over the Läger down to Chüebodmi. The first few meters are a bit challenging, as steps make the descent more difficult, but soon the path becomes smoother and more fluid to ride.

Shortly after crossing the Sousbach, the next challenge awaits you: tight corners on loose ground that test your riding skills. But don't worry, with a little skill you can master this section too. The last short ascent at Chüebodmi prepares you for the final descent. The route then returns to Lauterbrunnen on wider, easier paths.

Northface Trail

This picturesque bike tour starts at the Schilthorn cableway station in Mürren and takes you through breathtaking mountain scenery that will make any biker's heart beat faster. After a few meters on the asphalt road, you turn onto a natural path that takes you to Spilboden. Here you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the snow-capped peaks of the Bernese Alps – an ideal place to pause for a moment and take in the alpine scenery.

The trail widens from Schiltalp onwards, offering you a more relaxed ride. The route is not only scenic, but also informative: along the way, 12 information boards tell you interesting facts about the history and mountains around Mürren. This adds cultural value to the tour and ensures that your mind is also challenged.

From Schiltgrat, the trail winds through dense coniferous forests down to Suppenboden. Here you can enjoy the tranquillity of nature and the fresh mountain air as you glide gently along the trail. The last 100 meters or so lead you along alpine roads up to Almendhubel, another highlight of the route.


Waldspitz Loop

The mountain bike tour starts in Grindelwald, where you first take a leisurely ride on a paved road towards Bussalp. Soon you will reach the Lochsteinen junction, where you turn right and follow the signpost to Rasthysi. The road climbs steadily and after a few kilometers you will pass Rasthysi. Here it is worth taking a short break to enjoy the view or to catch your breath before continuing uphill towards Holenwang.

From Holenwang, the terrain becomes more varied: the last few meters to the Waldspitz mountain restaurant are on an unpaved natural path. This requires riding technique, but the route remains easy to ride and rewards you with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. Once at the top, the Waldspitz mountain restaurant awaits you, where you can enjoy the majestic mountain scenery on the sunny terrace with

The return journey is exciting and offers various options. A combination of road, hiking trail and single trail will take you back to the valley via Aellfluh. The section on the single trail in particular promises a real mountain bike adventure, where you can test your riding skills on narrow paths.
