Grindelwald-First
2168 metres above sea level - A hotspot for adventure in summer and a mecca for freestylers and snowboarders in winter.

Enjoy an afternoon snack in the mountain restaurant or race down the 800-metre route to the Schreckfeld middle station on the First Flyer (a type of zipline). You can also reach Bachalpsee in about one hour of walking time, where the snow-covered peaks reflect beautifully in the lake.

First Cliff Walk (Summer & Winter)
The First Cliff Walk by Tissot, which leads along the rock face to a viewing platform, is guaranteed to set even the boldest visitors’ hearts racing.

First Flyer (Summer & Winter)
Adventure seekers whizz down from First to the Schreckfeld middle station at speeds of up to 84 km/h on an 800-metre steel cable, safely secured in a special seat. A spring-based system brakes the ride at the end. Up to four people can start together on this giant zipline.

First Glider (Summer & Winter)
Flying with a bird of prey can be truly exhilarating. The eagle-shaped “First Glider” takes four guests on an airy ride through the mountain scenery. First, the Glider is pulled backwards from Schreckfeld up to First at 72 km/h. On the return, the eagle takes off for real, speeding down the 800-metre flight path at up to 83 km/h. Minimum age: 10 years, minimum height: 130 cm.

First Mountain Cart (Summer only)
Race three kilometres over rough terrain with the First Mountain Cart. This fun sports vehicle with a comfortable seat, sturdy tyres, and reliable brakes takes you safely along the natural road from Schreckfeld to Bort. The mix between go-kart and sled is suitable for children with a minimum height of 125 cm. Helmets are provided free of charge.

Trottibike (Summer only)
A ride on the Trottibike is fun for the whole family. The First cable car takes you comfortably to the starting point. Equipped with a helmet, you then ride down quiet, paved roads to Grindelwald. Helmets (mandatory) are provided free of charge. Minimum height required: 125 cm.

Grindelwald–First Ski Area (Winter only)
In winter, the colourful alpine meadows transform into snow-covered slopes for various winter sports. Skiers can enjoy five different lifts across the mountain with a total of 58 kilometres of pistes. In addition to a snowpark with jumps and rails of different difficulty levels and a 130-metre halfpipe, there is also an attractive course for ski-cross fans. Those who prefer to enjoy winter without skis can choose between several sledging runs or sunny winter hiking trails.
