Rottalhütte SAC

The ascent from Stechelberg, at the back of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, is challenging with fixed ropes and ladders. The view from the time-honoured hut to the Rottal glacier, up towards the Jungfrau to the Rottalsattel and into the steep, glaciated north face to Äbeni Flue is impressive. The high alpine ascents are also impressive and extraordinary, for example to the Jungfrau via the Innere Rottalgrat or to the Äbeni Flue via the Stuefestei glacier.
