Schilthorn hut

The Schilthorn hut not only offers great food and is the perfect starting point for skiing and hiking. It also impresses its guests with its unbeatable panoramic views of the Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and many other peaks. At 2433 metres above sea level, the Mürren Ski Club House is the highest accommodation option in the Mürren-Schilthorn region. In summer, tours over the Bietenlücke to the Saustal, the Schilthorn or to Mürren are possible. The small Riggli climbing garden is located directly below the hut. When there is snow, the hut is located in the centre of the ski area, right next to the piste and close to the snow park. The mountain restaurant has a spacious parlour and a sun terrace. The simple accommodation offers space for 25 people in the dormitory on the upper floor. Showers and toilets are located in the basement. Overnight guests must bring their own sleeping bag. Alternatively, one can be hired on site. The mobile phone network is sufficient for telephony and internet. In winter, you can reach the Schilthornhütte within a few minutes on the Muttleren or Kandahar chairlift. It can be reached on foot from Birg station in approx. 40 minutes (downhill). Or from Mürren via Kanonenrohr in around 2 hours 15 minutes (uphill).
