Alpen tower panorama restaurant

High above the Haslital, at 2250 metres above sea level, the Alpen tower stands majestically. The fantastic 360-degree panoramic view - far beyond the Bernese Oberland and the High Alps of Central Switzerland - never fails to impress. Enjoy the delicious breakfast buffet before a hike, which is served daily in summer. The Alpen tower panorama restaurant is the starting point for numerous hikes in the Meiringen-Hasliberg adventure area. One of the best-known hikes leads along the Horizontweg to Engstlenalp, from where you can take the bus to Grimseltor in comfort. In winter, the tower bar on the top floor is open daily. Enjoy a Haslital cheese fondue or a small snack here before you hit the slopes again or take the gondola cableway back to Mägisalp.
