The Ballenberg Heimatwerk course centre has been the successor institution to the traditional Heimatwerkschule Mülenen in Richterswil since 1996. It is committed to craftsmanship, traditional building trades and contemporary design.
Its close proximity to the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum enables reflection on standards and tradition, renewal and change, purpose and form. The course centre has contemporary rooms and infrastructure, a media library, specialist library and cafeteria.
