The journey begins with a cable car ride from Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp, which takes around four minutes. From there, the single-track adhesion railway continues to Mürren in approximately 11 minutes. Along the way, passengers can enjoy breathtaking views of the impressive mountain landscape featuring the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

The cable car was extensively modernised in 2026, while the single-track adhesion railway was renewed between 2020 and 2024.
