Eiger Express

The Eiger Express covers a distance of 6.5 kilometres and overcomes an elevation difference of 1,383 metres, connecting Grindelwald Terminal with the Eiger Glacier station in just 15 minutes. The station is the starting point for numerous hikes. It also provides the opportunity to continue by the Jungfrau Railway to the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe or in winter, to access the ski area directly.

The Eiger Express was put into operation on 5 December 2020. Construction took around two years.
