Our family-run chalet-style hotel is located in the picturesque village of Wyler, in the middle of the great alpine passes of Susten and Grimsel. It dates back to 1633 and is already run as a hotel in the fourth generation. The inviting sun terrace spoils you with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains.
We have 10 comfortable hotel rooms with 25 beds. Our Historic Room offers a special experience - immerse yourself in the time of the 17th century. Also popular with families is the 5-bed gallery room.
Our restaurant with home-style cooking offers 60 seats in the cozy guest room and 90 seats on the terrace. We attach great importance to local products and a family atmosphere.
The house is continuously renovated in harmony with history and modernity. The small model railway - work in progress - fascinates both young and old. WLAN and public parking are available free of charge.

You can reach the mountain railroads Meiringen-Hasliberg by car in only 10 minutes. The Aare Gorge (2.5 km away), the impressive Reichenbach Falls in Meiringen or the open-air museum Ballenberg will also amaze you.
Visit the Grimselwelt with its reservoirs or the Gelmerbahn: the steepest open funicular in Europe. With a post bus stop directly in front of the hotel, you can also reach your destinations by public transport.
Various climbing or biking routes await active vacationers. And for hikers there are countless tours, such as a visit to the Trift Bridge: one of the longest suspension rope bridges in the Alps, with a view of the tongue of the Trift Glacier.
