The Lobhornhütte has three rooms with a total of 24 beds, which are allocated by the hut team. All beds are equipped with Nordic duvets and pillows. A hut sleeping bag is obligatory for hygienic reasons. Bedtime is at 22:00. Summer Washing facilities with cold running mountain water are available at our unique open-air washing trough. Hot water and showers are not available. Our toilets are located outside the hut. It is an outhouse and through the little heart in the door you have the best view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The faeces tanks are flown down into the valley and disposed of in the Ara. Winter As we have no running water at the hut in winter, there are no washing or shower facilities. Our toilets are located outside the hut. It is an outhouse and through the little heart in the door you have the best view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The faeces tanks are flown down into the valley and disposed of in the Ara.
