Männlichen

Fantastic view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

The Männlichen is easily accessible in both summer and winter from Grindelwald via the Grindelwald–Männlichen gondola and from Wengen via the Wengen–Männlichen aerial cableway. The mountain is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes. Scenic high-altitude trails lead to Alpiglen and Kleine Scheidegg. Families can enjoy the themed Lieselotte and Öpfelchüechli trails, offering fun and interactive experiences. Another highlight is the Royal Walk, a short hike to the summit of the Männlichen (2,342 m), where breathtaking panoramic views await. Younger visitors will also love the Sennenspielplatz playground, featuring a giant walk-through cow, a slide, swings and many other play attractions.

There is plenty to discover in winter as well: winter hiking trails, sledging runs and the Berghaus Männlichen with its stunning sun terrace invite visitors to relax. Spectacular views of the surrounding Alpine peaks are guaranteed.
