Mürren-Winteregg
Oasis of relaxation at 1639 metres above sea level.
In the midst of largely unspoilt nature, the family-friendly restaurant with its sun terrace and self-service restaurant is an oasis of relaxation for hikers, mountain bikers and winter sports enthusiasts.
Winteregg is the only stopover on the railway line between Grütschalp and Mürren.
In addition to the restaurant, there is also an alpine cheese dairy here, which sells various types of cheese in summer. A highlight is the "Chästeilet", where the cheese that has been produced is distributed at the end of summer. A folk festival with a long-standing tradition throughout Switzerland.
In the winter months, Winteregg is mainly home to skiers. The Winteregg, Maulerhubel and Allmiboden lifts offer blue and red pistes, a slalom course and the popular Skyline Snowpark. Winter hikers also get their money's worth here, as the winter hiking trail leads past the restaurant. Snuggle up in warm blankets and warm up with a hot drink.
Winteregg is accessible on foot in both summer and winter. The easy walk from Mürren takes about 40 minutes. From Grütschalp it takes about 50 minutes.
