Pfingstegg
Toboggan run and more at 1387 metres above sea level.
You can easily reach the Grindelwald viewing platform by aerial cableway. Car parking is available at the bottom station in Grindelwald. From Pfingstegg, a variety of hiking trails lead into the spectacular glacier landscape above Grindelwald.
Summer toboggan run
The summer toboggan run (length: 725 metres) is an experience for young and old. The aerial cableway and toboggan run can also be hired outside of operating hours.
Fly-Line
With the Pfingstegg Fly-Line, you glide through the forest like a bird, moving gently and almost silently past rugged rock faces and rushing mountain streams. At times you skim just above the ground, before rising up to heights of around 12 meteres among the trees. Starting directly below the mountain station of the aerial cableway at Pfingstegg, the ride quickly disappears into the forest, immersing you in the alpine scenery. At the end, a special lift brings you comfortably back to the starting point. More than an adrenaline rush, the Fly-Line is designed to let visitors slow down, take in the surroundings, and experience the forest from a different perspective.
Sky dinner at lofty heights
Every evening, the gondolas are transformed into travelling gourmet temples. The Sky Dinner is available for a maximum of eight people if booked in advance. After a delicious aperitif at the bottom station, you ride slowly and silently up the mountain on the aerial cableway and enjoy an exclusive dinner with a sensational view over Grindelwald. Back down in the valley, you’ll be served coffee, dessert, and a digestif before returning to the Pfingstegg for a second ascent. And all this for just 95 francs per person including all drinks. Particularly suitable for small company events, birthdays or family celebrations.
