The pleasure break while hiking
Spielbodenalp is located a few kilometres from Mürren and can only be reached on foot. The hike from Mürren takes just under an hour. The Northface Trail takes you across flower meadows and through picturesque Gimmelen to Spilboden, where the alp is located with views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
In summer, guests are spoilt by Stägers. The rustic and simple cuisine offers pure alpine enjoyment. The house speciality is particularly popular: Chässchnitte.
Opening hours
The alp is open from June to September. The restaurant is always open during the day on Saturday and Sunday. Overnight stays can be booked between Friday and Sunday.
