Summer hiking delights

From Spiez to the Grimsel Pass

Lake Gelmer is nestled in the high-alpine landscape of the Grimsel region. The calm surface of the water reflects the surrounding mountain slopes and the clear sky. The rocks along the shore are visible in the foreground, while the dam borders the lake in the background.
Hiking with luggage transport

There are moments when everything just feels right. Settling down, exhausted yet happy, amongst the rocks and grass at the summit. Basking in the gentle afternoon sun, taking in the unobstructed, sweeping view across the valley and into the distance. Feeling at peace with oneself.

Even though the Jungfrau Region is too beautiful to be true, it really is: the mountains soar high into the sky, the valleys cut deep into the earth. Wild mountain streams, huge waterfalls and Lakes Thun and Brienz characterise the landscape.

The daily stages can be tailored to suit individual preferences.

Nestled amongst hills and vineyards, Spiez on Lake Thun, with its mild climate, is the perfect place to relax.
